NMIXX Unveils Haewon and Sullyoon’s Concept Photos & Moving Poster

JYP Entertainment has released individual teasers for the new girl group NMIXX members Haewon and Sullyoon.

JYP posted the first individual concept photo and moving poster of NMIXX’s debut single ‘AD MARE’ on the official social media channel.

Haewon and Sullyoon first appeared through a pre-promotion held last year. Introduced as the sixth member to strengthen NMIXX’s vocal abilities, Haewon gained attention by showing a wide vocal spectrum from a sweet voice to powerful singing.

Then, she raised expectations as an all-rounder with a soft tone with graceful dance lines.

JYP’s new headquarters, SQU4D, created exclusively for NMIXX, is opening various teaser contents and raising enthusiasm for the group’s debut. The story trailer melts the identity of NMIXX. The debut trailer featuring sensuous visuals and moving posters is delighting Kpop fans in Korea and abroad with content that shows new attempts.

In fact, NMIXX is a 7-member new girl group that JYP has released after 3 years since ITZY. It consists of Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Jinni, BAE, Jiwoo, and Kyujin.

The team name is a compound word of the letter ‘N,’ which means now, new, next, and unknown, and the word ‘MIX,’ which symbolizes combination and diversity. So, JYP Entertainment explained that it means ‘the best combination to take responsibility for a new era.’

The debut title, ‘OO,’ symbolizes wide-open eyes in surprise and an exclamation of ‘Oh!’

The title song ‘OO’ features NMIX’s strong confidence in getting ready to feel surprised by seeing something new. The HUB, a global production team that collaborated with TWICE, ITZY, TREASURE, and ENHYPEN, led the song, and Dr. JO, who worked with TWICE, IU, and MAMAMOO, joined forces to showcase ‘MIXX POP,’ a genre unique to NMIXX.

Meanwhile, NMIXX will release its debut single ‘AD MARE’ and the title song ‘OO’ at 6:00 pm, on February 22.
