The Kpop group GHOST9 has successfully completed their first US tour since their debut.
GHOST9 (Junhyung, Shin, Kangsung, Junseong, Prince, Woojin, and Jinwoo) successfully completed their first US tour, ‘MEET&LIVE TOUR in US,’ which took place for about three weeks from January 15.
Starting with the Los Angeles performance, GHOST9 met with local fans in a total of four cities. They also performed in San Francisco, New York, and Boston.
At the time of the first performance, GHOST9 expressed excitement about the first face-to-face concert in the US. The group said, “We can’t believe that we can actually see ‘Ghostie (fandom)’ in the US like this.”
They started with the opening performance of intense energy through the songs ‘Vision,’ ‘Think of Dawn,’ ‘Reborn,’ and ‘Trigger.’
Then, GHOST9 performed ‘Flying At night,’ ‘Up All Night,’ ‘Monday to Sunday,’ and ‘Antenna,’ exuding a refreshing charm.
Before the performance of the title song ‘Control’ of ‘NOW: Who Are Facing,’ which recently ended its activities, the members also had a special time to enjoy the point choreography with the audience.
Since then, GHOST9 has performed several songs released over a year and four months, from ‘TRIANGLE,’ ‘SPLASH,’ ‘Peace,’ ‘W.ALL,’ and ‘SEOUL,’ followed by encore songs ‘Way to You’ and ‘COSMOS.’
GHOST9 also performed on a half-time show of the Stanford Cardinal and UCLA Bruins basketball game on January 29. They received more attention as a ‘KPOP Super Rookie’ as it is unusual for a KPOP group to perform at NCAA (National Collegiate Sports Association).
In addition, GHOST9 presented a special performance at the observatory on the 86th floor of the Empire State Building in New York. It showed its global presence by collaborating with 11 influencers with a total of 63 million followers, recording more than 21 million views.
GHOST9 finished a total of three weeks of the US tour. The group said, “We think all of this is a dream, perhaps because it’s a long-awaited moment. Thank you for achieving our dreams,” they said, expressing sincere gratitude.
Also, “We’re overwhelmed because we’ve been waiting for this moment so much. We will continue to work hard to give greater strength with our music,’ GHOST9 said.
Kpop group GHOST9 marked the end of the ‘Now’ series through the US tour ‘INTO THE NOW.’
Particularly, expectations are rising for future global moves as they set a series of meaningful records, including selling out VIP tickets to four cities during the tour and selling out fan signing events in LA, San Francisco, and New York.
