Kpop singer Sunmi and the group Brave Girls will spread Kpop in Dubai. According to officials, on October 18, Sunmi and Brave Girls will join the Dubai Expo event in Dubai until March 31 next year. Reports said that invitations to Kpop artists were held as a way to raise the opening of events amid Kpop’s worldwide popularity.
Sunmi made her debut as a member of the Kpop group Wonder Girls in 2007. They released hits such as ‘Nobody,’ ‘So Hot,’ and ‘I Feel You.’
As a solo artist, music fans loved Sunmi for her hit songs such as ‘Full Moon,’ ’24 Hours Is Not Enough,’ ‘Gashina,’ ‘Heroine,’ and ‘LALALAY.’
Then, the Kpop group Brave Girls attracts attention for the reverse popularity of ‘Rollin.’
The group is gaining popularity by captivating male fans who completed their military service. They emerged as a new Korean Wave group by successfully releasing ‘Chi Mat Ba Ram.’
Recently, the popularity of the Korean Wave in the Middle East has been spreading in various forms. It includes K-pop, Netflix drama Squid Game, the beauty industry, and Korean food. Notably, the experience center, designed to enjoy Korean play cultures such as slap-match and dalgona games, continued to line up throughout the event.
During the Dubai Expo, the Korea Tourism Organization operates a Korean Tourism Promotion Center in the Korean Pavilion and promotes various Korean culture and tourism attractions. On October 15, Super Junior Eunhyuk and Kyuhyun performed.
Kpop singer Sunmi and Brave Girls will leave Korea For Dubai later this month to fulfill their activities.
