Some members of the Kpop group BTS completed their American schedule and returned to Korea.
BTS members Jin, Jimin, and Jungkook, arrived at Incheon International Airport on the morning of December 6. They went home after completing quarantine procedures.
The group departed for the United States on November 17. They wrote a new history by completing the US schedules for about 20 days.
On November 21, at the ‘2021 American Music Awards (AMAs),’ considered one of the top three popular music awards in the United States, BTS became the first Asian singer to receive the ‘Artist of the Year’ award.
Also, on November 27-28 and December 1-2, they held their first face-to-face concert, ‘BTS Permission to Dance on Stage – LA,’ four times at SoFi Stadium in LA.
The American music media Billboard reported that BTS earned $33.3 million (about 39.3 billion won) from four performances over four days. They sold a total of 214,000 tickets. Profits are estimated to increase when the sales of goods and online broadcasting fees for the last day’s performances are combined.
BTS Jin, Jimin, and Jungkook will need to take a 10-day quarantine. This is in accordance with the government’s measures for all overseas arrivals from December 3. Also, it is in line with the COVID-19 Omicron quarantine guidelines. As of now, the three members seem to be resting in their homes.
Reports said that other Kpop group BTS members such as RM, Suga, J-Hope, and V, are still in the United States.
