Kpop singer IU took first place on Melon’s weekly chart with her new song ‘Strawberry Moon.’
According to Melon, on October 26, IU’s new song ‘Strawberry Moon,’ released on October 19, topped the Melon TOP 100 after its release. Also, it topped the weekly chart for the 4th week of October (October 18 to October 24).”
‘Strawberry Moon’ is a pop rock-style song with IU’s delicate singing style, dreamy synth sound, and refreshing piano performance. Many Melon users and fans steadily love the song. IU participated in writing lyrics along with composer Jonghoon Lee.
Aside from IU, Kpop duo Davichi, the ‘Music Powerhouse,’ ranked 23rd on the weekly chart with the new song ‘My First Love,’ released on October 18. So, Davichi is showing their unbelievable music power.
Davichi’s new song ‘My First Love,’ released six months after ‘Just Hug Me’ in April, is a song based on the memory of her first love. Davichi members Haeri Lee and Minkyung Kang participated in writing lyrics and added meaning to the song. It features a warm and sentimental emotional line that sings calmness.
Also, Kpop singer Jessi’s song, ‘Cold Blooded,’ previously ranked 95th on the 3rd week of October. But, it soared 53 steps higher in just one week, ranking 42nd.
‘Cold Blooded’ has received keen attention even before its release for its choreography collaboration with Mnet’s popular entertainment program ‘Street Woman Fighter.’
It has been on the rise steadily with Jessi’s intense and relentless rapping and powerful vocals. In addition to the song, the music video with the cast of ‘Street Woman Fighter’ has produced high topics and continues to rise steadily.
