Kpop group BTS receives three nominations at the ‘2021 American Music Awards (AMAs),’ a prestigious American popular music awards ceremony.
The ‘American Music Awards’ announced the nominees for this year’s awards ceremony on October 28 (US time) through their official website and social media. BTS receives three nominations: ‘Artist of the Year,’ ‘Favorite Pop Duo or Group,’ and ‘Favorite Pop Song/Butter.’
In fact, this is the first time that BTS became a nominee for the ‘Artist of the Year’ category at the ‘American Music Awards.’
BTS was on the list of nominees for the ‘American Music Awards’ for four consecutive years from 2018 to this year. They have won more than one award for three consecutive years until last year. In 2018, BTS won the ‘Favorite Social Artist’ award. The following year, they won three awards, including ‘Favorite Social Artist,’ ‘Pop/Rock Favorite Duo/Group,’ and ‘Tour of the Year.’
Then, last year, BTS won the ‘Pop/Rock Genre Favorite Duo/Group’ and ‘Favorite Social Artist’ awards.
The 2021 American Music Awards will take place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on November 21. It will air live on the American TV broadcasting channel ABC.
Meanwhile, Kpop group BTS also receives three nominations at the 2021 E! People’s Choice Awards. The nominations include ‘The Group of 2021,’ The Song of 2021,’ and ‘The Music Video of 2021.’
This awards ceremony will take place in Santa Monica, California, on December 7 and will be broadcast live on NBC.
