NU’EST Baekho Shows His Dazzling Growth As A Musical Actor Through ‘EQUAL’

Kpop group NU’EST member Baekho shows remarkable growth with the musical ‘Equal.’

Since January 21, Baekho has been meeting with the audience by appearing in the creative musical ‘Equal,’ performed online and offline at the MetaTheater, an online performance platform, and Uniplex 1, located in Dongsung-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul.

‘Equal’ is a two-player drama set in 17th century Europe. It intertwines the experiences of ‘Theo’ and ‘Nicola’ living together in a small hut. It depicts the desperate desires and twisted fates of ‘Theo,’ who works as a doctor at a village hospital, and ‘Nicola,’ confined in a house due to an incurable disease of unknown cause.

Baekho appeared in the role of ‘Theo,’ a doctor from a rural village in the musical. He receives favorable reviews by performing in every episode with his high-level acting skills. Notably, Baekho fascinates the audience by boasting perfect chemistry with ‘Nicola’ in an atmosphere that overwhelms the crowd.

Baekho made his musical debut through the creative musical ‘Song of the Sun’ in May of last year. Then, he joined the musical ‘Altar Boyz’ in December and drew attention as a musical rookie. Baekho perfectly reinterpreted characters with colorful personalities and successfully finished two musicals.

Baekho confirmed his appearance in the musical ‘Equal’ this year. He revealed his extraordinary aspirations by saying, “This musical ‘Equal’ is a bigger challenge for me.”
