BTS Still Dominates The US Billboard Charts With 4 Songs & 2 Albums

Kpop group BTS is showing solid popularity on the US Billboard chart.

According to the latest chart released by Billboard, a US music media outlet, ‘My Universe,’ released on September 24 last year by BTS and Coldplay, ranked 23rd in Billboard Global 200 and 15th in Billboard Global (excluding the US), charting for 18 consecutive weeks.

In addition, ‘My Universe‘ ranked 9th in ‘Hot Alternative Song,’ 12th in ‘Rock Song,’ 13th in ‘Alternative Digital Song Sales,’ 24th in ‘Adult Pop Airplay,’ and 44th in ‘Billboard Canadian Hot 100.’

BTS ranked four songs, including ‘My Universe,’ on the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global (excluding the US). The two charts rank songs by aggregating streaming and sales in more than 200 countries/regions worldwide. On the Billboard Global 200 chart, ‘Butter’ ranked 38th, ‘Dynamite’ ranked 48th, and ‘Permission to Dance’ ranked 113th. On the Billboard Global (Excluding the US), ‘Butter’ ranked 23rd, ‘Dynamite’ ranked 33rd, and ‘Permission to Dance’ ranked 71st.

Meanwhile, Kpop group BTS’s albums continued to be a long-term hit.

‘MAP OF THE SOUL: 7,’ released in February 2020, ranked 39th in ‘Top Album Sales’ and 2nd in ‘World Album’ chart. Then, the album ‘BE,’ released in November 2020, ranked 49th in ‘Top Current Album Sales’ and 6th in ‘World Album’ chart.
