Kpop group BTS’s ‘Dope’ music video has surpassed 700 million views.

The number of YouTube views on the music video for the song ‘Dope’ in the mini-album, ‘The Most Beautiful Moment In Life Pt.1,’ released in April 2015 exceeded 700 million at around 4:37 pm on February 9. With this, BTS has its ninth 700 million-view music video in its career.

‘Dope’ is an electronic hip-hop song that unravels the autobiographical story of the BTS members who are devoted to music day and night through lyrics. The music video, which stands out with intense colors, presents a different attraction with the appearance of BTS transformed into various professionals such as police officers, detectives, and office workers, as well as sophisticated group dances.

Notably, the music video for ‘Dope,’ which features an intense performance, garnered a lot of attention thanks to the popularity of the ‘reaction video’ that started after its release. In October 2016, it surpassed 100 million views for the first time as a BTS music video.

Meanwhile, Kpop group BTS has a total of 34 music videos with billions of views. It includes ‘DNA’ and ‘Boy With Luv (Feat. Halsey)’ with 1.4 billion views each, ‘Dynamite’ with 1.3 billion views, ‘MIC Drop’ remix with 1.1 billion views, and ‘FAKE LOVE’ and ‘IDOL‘ with 1 billion views each.

Also, it includes ‘Blood Sweat & Tears’ with 800 million views, ‘FIRE’ and ‘Dope’ with 700 million views, and ‘Save ME’ and ‘Butter‘ with 600 million views each.
