Global music projects for Kpop rapper Beenzino are continuing.
According to BANA, on February 3, Beenzino announced a remix collaboration with the Japanese female four-member band CHAI on February 2. Beenzino participated in CHAI’s 3rd album ‘WINK’ remix collaboration album ‘WINK TOGETHER’ as a feature.
In fact, CHAI received worldwide acclaim as their 2nd album ‘PUNK,’ released in 2019, emerged as the Best New Music by Pitchfork, a global music critic.
In addition, at the end of 2021, CHAI has once again received worldwide attention by collaborating with world-class artists such as Gorillaz, Duran Duran, and JPEGMAFIA. Currently, the group is on a US tour.
The single ‘Donuts Mind If I Do,’ which Beenzino collaborated with, became the album of the year by ‘The Guardian’ in the UK. Also, the first single, ‘WINK,’ received favorable reviews on Pitch Fork.
Beenzino received a work offer as a Korean artist on the CHAI Remix album, in which various artists from different countries participated.
Meanwhile, Kpop rapper Beenzino has been to Sweden in 202. He worked on his second full-length album ‘NOWITSKI.’
Beenzino officially included the single ‘Monet’ in 2K’s global basketball game NBA® 2K22 soundtrack on January 28.
