The music video for ‘BOY’ of YG Entertainment’s large Kpop group TREASURE has surpassed 100 million views on YouTube.

According to YG Entertainment, on December 9, TREASURE’s ‘BOY’ music video surpassed 100 million views on YouTube at 8:46 am on the same day.

It has a special meaning as it is TREASURE’s own best record. They succeeded in having a music video with more than 100 million views for the first time since their debut, proving their strong global fandom power.

‘BOY’ is the title song of TREASURE’s first single album, ‘THE FIRST STEP: CHAPTER ONE.’

The intense track and dance break drop is impressive. The synthesizer heightens the tension, and the strong bass and drums also stand out.

The song topped the iTunes Top Song Charts in 19 countries at the time of its release. Also, it topped the Line Music Top 100 Daily Chart, the largest music site in Japan, the Rakuten Music Real-time Comprehensive Ranking, and the AWA Rapidly Rising Chart.

The music video for ‘BOY’ garnered a hot response on YouTube, surpassing 1 million views in 26 hours and 20 million views in 6 days. TREASURE’s unique hot energy, teen crush charm, and intense choreography have captured the hearts of global fans.

Meanwhile, Kpop group TREASURE debuted in August of last year and released ‘THE FIRST STEP’ series albums one after another. They sold a total of more than 1 million copies, sweeping the ‘Rookie of the Year’ awards at major awards ceremonies. Recently, they released their self-produced vlog content, ‘TMI-LOG.’
