Kpop group SEVENTEEN member Woozi releases his first solo mixtape.
At midnight on December 28, Pledis Entertainment announced the release of Woozi’s first solo mixtape ‘Ruby’ at 6 pm on January 3 through SEVENTEEN’s official social media channel. Also, they surprisingly released the title teaser image.
In the released title teaser image, the title of the song ‘Ruby’ and the release date of Woozi’s first solo mixtape in a dark background appeared in red. So, it leaves a solid impression.
‘Ruby’ means a red gem reminiscent of the blazing sun. So, Woozi plans to present a different charm with his first solo mixtape.
He is an album producer and vocal team leader within the group. Woozi has been pioneering his own field by playing the role of the musical backbone of the team. He won the ‘Best Producer Award’ at the ‘2021 Asia Artist Awards’ and proved his outstanding producing ability once again. Also, he showed the true value of an ‘irreplaceable artist.’
Regarding the first solo mixtape since his debut, Woozi expressed confidence, saying, “I made a mixtape that can answer the question ‘What kind of music does singer Woozi make?'”
Not only that, he will surely prove his musical ability as an artist.
Meanwhile, Kpop group SEVENTEEN member Woozi will release his first solo mixtape ‘Ruby’ on January 3 at 6 pm on famous US music sites such as iTunes, Spotify, and Apple Music as the global music platform SoundCloud.
