The OST ‘Yours’ of the drama ‘Jirisan’ sung by BTS Jin proved its hot popularity by taking first place on the Gaon download chart for the first time as a BTS solo song.
‘Yours’ is the main theme OST of ‘Jirisan,’ which features beautiful tone, solid high, soft bass, natural flow of authenticity and falsetto, and excellent emotional expression of Jin called the vocal king.
Jin’s ‘Yours’ topped the download chart on the Gaon Weekly Chart for the 46th week of 2021. So, it is proving its powerful song power in Korea. This is the first achievement of a BTS member’s solo song.
‘Yours’ entered the Spotify global chart for the first time for a Korean OST on Spotify, the world’s largest music platform. Also, it recorded the highest debut streaming among Korean OSTs in the history of Spotify. On November 8, the number of monthly listeners exceeded 1 million. Then, on November 10, it surpassed 1.44 million monthly listeners.
As of November 18, it has surpassed 2,317,303 streams and continues the record. Then, it reached 12 million streams and currently has 12.4 million streams.
‘Yours’ is the highest Korean solo song on the chart, ranking fifth on the Billboard Hot Trending Songs Chart over the past seven days. BTS Jin holds both the first and highest-ranking records as a Korean solo artist.
Jin’s ‘Yours’ is leading the enthusiastic response, surpassing the popular songs of the world’s top pop stars and topping the world’s iTunes song chart for three consecutive days.
This is the only Korean solo song that achieved this feat since PSY’s ‘Gangnam Style’ and ‘GENTLEMAN.’
