The Kpop group MONSTA X entered the US Billboard main album chart ‘Billboard 200’ again. According to the latest chart released by Billboard on December 21 (US time), MONSTA X’s second US full-length album, ‘The Dreaming,’ entered the ‘Billboard 200’ chart at number 21.
This is already the second time MONSTA X has entered the ‘Billboard 200’ chart. In addition, MONSTA X ranked 3rd on the ‘Top Album Sales,’ ‘Top Current Album Sales,’ and ‘Independent Albums’ charts. So, they ranked on a total of six Billboard charts, including ‘Billboard Canadian Album’ and ‘Hot Trending Songs’ charts.
Leader Shownu participated in producing ‘The Dreaming’ before serving in the military in July. It is an English full-length album released by MONSTA X after ‘ALL ABOUT LUV’ in about 1 year and 10 months. ‘All About Love’ took 5th place on the ‘Billboard 200’ during its release.
Starship Entertainment said, “MONSTA X’s message that we all lost a lot this year, and we found hope through the medium of ‘music’ reached music fans all over the world.”
Through Starship, MONSTA X said, “We are grateful for the fact that we were able to release the full-length album ‘The Dreaming’ in the US. As much as we worked hard, we want to give meaning to the fact that our fans know and are liking it.”
Recently, Kpop group MONSTA X participated in the ‘Jingle Ball’ tour at the same time as the release of ‘The Dreaming.’
‘Jingle Ball’ tour is the largest year-end show held by the famous US broadcasting station iHeartRadio.
After the Philadelphia, Washington DC, and Atlanta tour, they appeared on popular local radio and TV shows. They performed on ‘102.7 KIIS FM,’ ‘Good Morning America,’ and ‘Zach Sang Show.’
After that, the group returned to Korea on December 21. Currently, the members began their self-quarantine for 10 days. It is following the government’s measures related to overseas arrivals due to the spread of COVID-19 omicron mutation.
