Former Kpop group IZ*ONE member Eunbi Kwon took the ‘Emotive Award’ trophy in her arms at the ‘2021 Asia Artist Awards (2021 AAA).’
Eunbi Kwon attended the ‘2021 Asia Artist Awards held at KBS Arena Hall in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, on December 2. She won the ‘AAA Emotive’ award singer category.
The ‘AAA Emotive’ award is given to an artist who provides healing by sharing emotions with fans through music and works. Eunbi Kwon achieved significant results with her solo debut album ‘OPEN.’
Eunbi said through her agency Woollim Entertainment, “I was nervous because it was the first time I came alone to an awards ceremony. But, I am happy to receive a valuable award. To my fans, who will be the happiest, I sincerely thank you. In the future, I will become a singer who can repay you on stage.”
In addition, Eunbi Kwon presented a splendid performance like a musical. She performed the title song ‘Door‘ of ‘Open’ after winning the ‘2021 AAA Emotive’ award. Eunbi is wearing a stylish black mini dress that matches the ‘door’ full of alluring beauty. Then, she filled the stage with the dancers and fixed the viewers’ eyes.
Earlier, Eunbi Kwon released her first mini-album ‘Open’ in August. She started the second act of her life as a solo singer. Eunbi Kwon’s first step as a solo artist in ‘Open’ contains songs of various genres. It includes Moombahton, Trap, R&B, pop dance, and ballad. So, it shows Eunbi Kwon’s diverse music spectrum.
Notably, ‘Open’ ranked 1st in Hong Kong and Singapore on the iTunes Top KPop Album Chart (as of 10 am on August 25). Then, it ranked 2nd in 14 countries including the US, Thailand, Australia, Canada, Chile, UK, Indonesia, and Japan. Also, it ranked 3rd in Germany and took the TOP3 in 17 countries and regions.
Also, ‘Door’ ranked 3rd on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart (as of September 8), proving Eunbi Kwon’s hot global popularity.
Former Kpop group IZ*ONE member Eunbi Kwon, who opened the door of ‘complete solo,’ will hold her first global online fan meeting ‘WELCOME TO EUNBI LAND: OPEN THE DOOR’ on December 18. So, she will surely meet with fans around the world.
