The Kpop group BTS received the ‘Special International Music Award’ for the second consecutive year at the 63rd Japan Record Awards, a Japanese music awards ceremony.

They won the ‘Special International Music Award’ at the 63rd Japan Record Awards. The award ceremony aired live on TBS in Japan on December 30. BTS was grateful to receive another precious award following last year. The group said, “We’re happy that many people listened to our song this year,” the members said through a video.

Also, they are the first winner of the ‘Special International Music Award,’ newly established at the 62nd Japan Record Awards last year.

BTS was the only overseas artist winner at the Japan Record Awards for the second consecutive year since last year. Also, they won the ‘Special International Music Award’ for the second successive year.

Kpop group BTS could not attend the awards ceremony in person. But, the ‘Butter’ performance, held at the online concert ‘BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE‘ in October, played at the ’63rd Japan Record Awards.’
