All Korean members of the six-member Kpop group ONF will enlist in the military next month.
According to the agency WM Entertainment on November 3, ONF will start with MK on December 21, then J-US and Wyatt on December 27, and Hyojin and E-Tion on December 28. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, they did not disclose the place and time of enlistment.
“The decision was made based on the opinions of the members to minimize the gaps in group activities,” WM said.
“As an idol group, all Korean members, with a military duty, will begin military service at the same time,” WM added.
There is no specific plan for Japanese member U’s activities.
ONF made a rapid rise this year, taking first place on music shows for the first time in four years since their debut with ‘Beautiful Beautiful’ released in February. Also, they entered the US Billboard and iTunes charts with the summer pop-up album ‘POPPING’ released in August.
Meanwhile, Kpop group ONF will host a solo concert, ‘ONF 2021 Live Contact Code #1. Reverse’ from December 9 to 12. They will meet fans with a face-to-face performance after two years since the pandemic.
