The Kpop group KINGDOM once again entered the US Billboard chart. They are showing off the majesty of the ‘4th generation idol dark horse.’
According to US Billboard on November 2 (KST), KINGDOM (Dann, Arthur, Mujin, Louis, Ivan, Jahan, and Chiwoo)’s 3rd mini-album ‘History Of Kingdom: Part Ⅲ. IVAN’ title song ‘Black Crown’ ranked 7th on the US Billboard ‘World Digital Song Sales Chart.’
In addition, this album and the title song took first place on the US iTunes Dance Album Chart and the iTunes K-Pop Chart, respectively, after its release on October 22. So, they once again proved their global popularity as the ‘Fantasy Idol.’
The new song ‘Black Crown’ is an epic dance-pop song that crosses a magnificent orchestra sound. Ivan, who leads the ‘Snow Kingdom,’ drew attention by expressing a situation in which he inevitably uses the power of absolute evil while demonstrating his fighting spirit in the fierce confrontation between good and evil.
KINGDOM debuted earlier this year. It is a group with a team name meaning ‘seven kings from seven kingdoms.’
Through the eight-part ‘History of Kingdom,’ they will sing the story of the protagonist trying to awaken as a true king and the six kings who come from different timelines to help him.
Through such a vast worldview and a film-like performance, they received lots of love from global Kpop fans. Then, they earned a special modifier ‘4th generation idol dark horse.’
So, there is an extraordinary interest in what kind of worldview and music KINGDOM will present in the future.
Meanwhile, Kpop group KINGDOM, which returned with their 3rd mini-album, plans to communicate with ‘Kingmaker (fandom name)’ through various activities.
