JYP Entertainment’s long-awaited last member of a new girl group in February 2022 turned out to be LILY.
JYP Entertainment opened a new YouTube channel, ‘JYPn,’ in August and released promotional content of a new girl group scheduled to debut in February next year. The members, who were veiled through various vocal and dance cover contents, were first introduced. Recently, they entered Promotion Part.2 and sent real-time practice before their debut, expressing the confidence of a ‘girl group master.’
Earlier, six members were unveiled, including Jinni, Jiwoo, Kyujin, Sullyoon, Bae, and Haewon. Then, the last member to open a new cover content and complete the 2022 rookie girl group was Lily.
Lily, also known as ‘Lily M’ to many viewers, appeared about six years after SBS’s ‘K-Pop Star Season 4,’ which ended in popularity in April 2015. So, it leads to an explosive response from both domestic and foreign Kpop fans.
In this video, Lily appeared in a groovy rhythm and sang Bruno Mars’ ‘Finesse’ with a powerful voice.
Mainly, Lily has achieved brilliant growth for six years. Joining the team, JYP’s next girl group has confirmed its ‘seven-member group.’
So, expectations are high for the strongest combination of Jinni, Jiwoo, Kyujin, Sullyoon, Bae, Haewon, and Lily, equipped with three aspects: dance, song, and visual.
