Thai member SORN of the kpop group CLC is leaving the team. Cube Entertainment announced on November 16, saying, “The exclusive contract with our artist Sorn has been terminated. With this contract termination, Sorn is now leaving the group CLC.”
“We made this decision with mutual agreement between both parties involved. We want to thank the fans who supported and loved Sorn. So, we ask for your generous support and encouragement for the Sorn’s future endeavors,” Cube Entertainment added.
Thai member Sorn debuted as a sub-vocalist of CLC in 2015. At the time of her debut, she was popular as the ‘skilled woman’ who won the final victory in global auditions in six Asian countries and gained attention.
With Son leaving, only five Kpop group CLC members remain.
Previously, CLC member Elkei from Hong Kong left the team following the termination of her exclusive contract in February. Among the remaining members, Yujin Choi will be active in the new group ‘Kep1er,’ taking third place in Mnet’s ‘Girls Planet 999: Girls’ War.’
