The Kpop group BTS became the main character of the ‘Record Of The Year’ selected by the American media ‘Variety’ with the number one song ‘Butter’ on the Billboard.
According to their agency Big Hit Music on November 21, BTS won the ‘Record of the Year’ category from Variety’s list of ‘2021 Hitmakers’ announced on November 19.
Variety said, “Butter, released in May, caused a sensation around the world. Member RM and others who participated in writing and composing made a perfect hit.”
This is the second time that the Kpop group BTS became a ‘hitmaker’ by Variety. Last year, they recognized BTS for its position as a global superstar and received the ‘Group of the Year’ award.
‘Hitmakers’ is an awards ceremony that selects labels, singer-songwriters, producers, and composers who contributed to producing the most popular songs of the year. It will take place on December 4.
