YUJU Reveals Lyrics For Her First Title Song ‘Play’

YUJU's lyric poster

K-pop singer YUJU’s first solo song, ‘Play,’ slowly takes off its veil.

On January 10, KONNECT Entertainment released the lyric poster for ‘Play‘ on its official social media account. The poster showed fallen petals scattered on the ground. The red-tinted petals contrast with the green grass, and the song’s sensibility appears.

The lyrics engraved on the image and released for the first time are impressive.

“When the flowers bloom beautifully and turned red, You broke it and far way, you departed” is translated into Korean as “When the flowers bloom beautifully and turned red, you break me and leave far away.”

It touches the hint that the word ‘Play,’ which is a playful and pleasant feeling, has a double meaning in its language. As the comeback codes opened one by one, the flow spread with greater anticipation and curiosity.

In fact, ‘Play’ is a medium-tempo emotional pop track, created through the global song camp. Many famous foreign musicians from the US and Europe participated in enhancing the level of perfection. Also, YUJU participated in writing and composing the lyrics to add authenticity. Then, K-pop singer Chancellor, who also belongs to KONNECT Entertainment, also contributed to the song’s production.

YUJU pointed out, “The combination of the light track and the mournful lyrics as opposed to it will be like a meaningful play.”

K-pop singer YUJU’s first solo album, ‘REC.’ with the title song ‘Play,’ will be out on January 18 at 6 pm.
