Soyeon (34, Soyeon Park), a former member of the K-pop group T-ARA, is getting married to Suwon FC Football player Yumin Cho (25) in November.
On January 18, Think Entertainment announced that Soyeon and Yumin Cho will be tying the knot in November after dating for three years.
Announcing the couple’s marriage, the agency explained, “The wedding will take place in November when Yumin Cho’s season ends. Soyeon planned to start this season together to support Yumin Cho.”
The agency added, “We ask for a lot of support and love for the two of them in the future. Also, we ask for your interest in Soyeon’s more diverse and upcoming activities in the future.”
Soyeon debuted as a member of the K-pop group T-ARA in 2009 and was active as the main vocalist. T-ARA represents the second generation of girl groups through numerous hit songs such as ‘Roly-Poly’ and ‘Why are you being like this.’
Since then, Soyeon has established herself as a solo singer. Aside from that, she is also active in various entertainment programs such as MBC’s ‘King of Mask Singer,’ dramas, and musicals.
Yumin Cho is playing for Suwon FC. In 2018, he joined the Korea Under-23 national football team and helped win the gold medal at the ‘Jakarta Palembang Asian Games’ in the same year.
