The three-member Kpop band SE SO NEON goes on their first North American tour.
According to the agency Magic Strawberry Sound on January 27, SE SO NEON will be hosting ‘SE SO NEON 2022 LIVE’ in nine cities in North America for two weeks starting March 31. The band will visit eight US cities, including New York, Washington DC, Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, Seattle, Oakland, Los Angeles, and Toronto, Canada.
Prior to the North American concert, on February 25-27, SE SO NEON will host a concert at the Blue Square Mastercard Hall in Seoul, to announce the start of this tour.
This is the band’s first face-to-face performance since the COVID-19 outbreak. In December 2019, before COVID-19, tickets for a solo concert with a capacity of 2,000 seats sell out in less than a minute. They will present new songs released after 2020 in front of the audience for the first time.
SE SO NEON, composed of Soyoon Hwang, Hyunjin Park, and U-su, released ‘joke!’ released last year. They have been continuously releasing new songs and expanding their musical spectrum.
In addition, they received rave reviews from global music media such as ‘Pitchfork’ and ‘Paste Magazine’ in 2020. Last year, Kpop band SE SO NEON was the only Korean artist selected for the ‘Foundry’ program of ‘YouTube Music,’ which helps young artists worldwide grow.
