K-pop group fromis_9 member Seoyeon Lee revealed the secret to completing a song. fromis_9 (Saerom Lee, Hayoung Song, Gyuri Jang, Jiwon Park, Jisun Roh, Seoyeon Lee, Chaeyoung Lee, Nagyung Lee, Jiheon Baek) held an online showcase to celebrate the release of the 4th mini-album ‘Midnight Guest’ on the afternoon of January.
This album includes ‘Hush Hush’ and ‘0g,’ in which Jiwon Park and Seoyeon Lee participated in writing and composing. When asked how they felt about the work, Seoyeon Lee said, “I made a lot of modifications and efforts to make a song called ‘Hush Hush.’ I put my thoughts together once at the playground,” she said.
Then, she expressed satisfaction, saying, “After completing the song, I feel so satisfied with everything. I’m satisfied that the development until the escape and the flow of the melody line seem to be delivered well.”
‘Midnight Guest’ is an album that contains a variety of moments of deviation, city nights, and unexpected situations. The title song ‘DM’ is a pop genre song that features a sentimental chord progression and a funky baseline. You can feel the K-pop group fromis_9’s lovely sensibility.
Meanwhile, fromis_9 will officially release ‘Midnight Guest’ at 6 pm the same day. Then, at 7 pm, they will simultaneously hold a fan showcase online and offline and meet global fans.
