The US Billboard chart is the home of the Kpop group BTS. The group has been in power for a long time, alternately recording reverse runs and re-entries.

According to the latest chart released by Billboard on January 5, BTS charted for 14 consecutive weeks with ‘My Universe‘ in collaboration with the British pop band Coldplay, released on September 24 last year, ranking 72nd, rising 12 steps from the previous week in the Billboard main single chart ‘Hot 100.’

Also, ‘My Universe’ ranked 10th on ‘Adult Pop Airplay,’ 10th on ‘Canadian Hot AC,’ 32nd on ‘Pop Airplay,’ 32nd on ‘Canadian Digital Song Sales,’ 34th on ‘Canada CHR/TOP,’ and 56th on the ‘Canadian Hot 100’ charts.

The global summer song ‘Butter,’ released in May of last year, re-entered at #31 on the ‘Digital Song Sales’ chart. It also ranked 7th on the weekly chart of ‘Hot Trending Songs Powered by Twitter.’

The ‘Hot Trending Songs’ chart is a real-time ranking of the most mentioned songs on Twitter for the last 24 hours or the last 7 days. In addition to the real-time chart, Billboard also announces the aggregate results from Friday to the following Thursday on a weekly chart.

BTS also ranked on the ‘Billboard Global 200,’ which announces rankings by counting streaming and sales in more than 200 countries/regions worldwide.

On the ‘Billboard Global 200’ chart, ‘Butter‘ ranked 41st, ‘My Universe’ ranked 43rd, ‘Dynamite’ ranked 70th, and ‘Permission to Dance‘ ranked 136th. On the ‘Billboard Global (excluding the US)’ chart, ‘Butter’ ranked 29th, ‘My Universe’ ranked 34th, ‘Dynamite‘ ranked 45th, and ‘Permission to Dance’ ranked 75th.

BTS also continued its long run in the album category. The 4th full album, ‘Map of the Soul: 7,’ released in February 2020, was successful in charting for the 91st week. It ranked 176th on Billboard’s main album chart ‘Billboard 200.’

The album also ranked 54th in the ‘Top Album Sales’ chart, and the album ‘BE,’ released in November 2020, ranked 43rd in ‘Top Current Album Sales’ and 81st in ‘Top Album Sales’ chart.

In addition, ‘Christmas Tree,’ sung by BTS V, the OST of the SBS TV’s Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Our Beloved Summer,’ ranked 79th on the ‘Hot 100’ chart. After Suga’s ‘Daechwita‘ at 76th and J-Hope’s ‘Chicken Noodle Soup’ at 81st, V is the third BTS member to enter ‘Hot 100’ through a solo song.

‘Christmas Tree’ ranked first in the ‘Digital Song Sales,’ and ‘Top Selling Songs’ chart. Also, it ranked 2nd on the ‘Canadian Digital Song Sales’ and 4th on the Weekly Chart of ‘Hot Trending Songs.’

Meanwhile, Kpop group BTS is on their second long vacation. This year, the group plans to hold a face-to-face concert in Seoul in March.
