Kpop group ONF members J-US and Wyatt will fulfill their military duties.
According to WM Entertainment, J-US and Wyatt will enter the training center today, December 27. They will receive basic military training before fulfilling their duties as an active duty soldier. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the place and time of enlistment will be kept private, without a special event.
On December 21, MK was the first to enlist in the group. Then, on December 28, Hyojin and E-TION were about to enlist in the military. According to the ONF members’ opinions, they want to minimize the gap in group activities. So, all Korean members will enlist in the military simultaneously. In fact, it is unusual for a Kpop group to enlist all the members together.
Last month, J-US posted a handwritten letter on their official fan cafe to announce his enlistment. He said, “We decided to join the military together with the desire to be together and sing together for a longer time. We will wait for the upcoming future with FUSE (fan club) and promise to come back healthy.”
In addition, Wyatt expressed his gratitude to the members, family, and fans who always stood by him at his first solo concert ahead of his enlistment. He said, “I’m going to be Wyatt, who has grown even more. We will continue to make more efforts to be with ONF. I’ll be back safely,” he said, leaving a brave greeting.
