Kpop singer CL, a former leader of the Kpop group 2NE1, revealed the secret behind their team’s disbandment.
Recently, CL conducted an interview with AP Entertainment in the UK. AP Entertainment released an interview video titled ‘FREEDOM: Why the time is right for former 2NEI member CL’ on their official social media on December 16.
A reporter from AP Entertainment asked CL, “In a recent AP interview, Minzy said she found out about 2NE1’s disbandment through the media article. How about CL?”
Kpop singer CL replied, “To be honest, I feel the same way.”
She then said, “It was a meal to commemorate Thanksgiving Day, but phone calls poured out. At that time, I was so heartbroken. But, now I have more freedom and the right to make decisions about my life. So, the present comes as a more interesting chapter for me,” she added.
CL, along with Sandara Park, Bom, Park, and Minzy, debuted in 2009 as 2NE1, a four-member group belonging to YG Entertainment.
Kpop group 2NE1 was officially disbanded in November 2016.
