“BTS members are planning to take a second official extended period of rest since their debut.”
The group BTS is taking its second long-term vacation.
Big Hit Music said through its official social media on December 6, “BTS will wrap up this year’s official schedule after completing the ‘BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE-LA’ and the ‘2021 Jingle Ball Tour,’ and will have its second official long-term vacation since 2019.”
“BTS stayed active to engage with fans in 2020 and 2021 amidst the COVID-19 situation. They achieved dazzling results to cement themselves as top global artists,” Big Hit Music added.
“This period of rest will provide the members of a chance to get re-inspired and recharge with creative energy. Also, it will be the first time for them since their debut to spend the holiday season with their families.”
“So, we ask that you show consideration for their need to enjoy ordinary and free, everyday lives while concentrating on themselves, even for a short while, during this period of rest.”
Also, according to the agency, BTS will release new albums and prepare for performances. They will open the ‘New Chapter’ after the holiday. Also, in March, they announced an offline concert where they could meet fans in person in Seoul, raising expectations.
Finally, the agency added, “BTS will return as their best, healthiest selves after recharging so they can return all the love from fans.”
