On December 3 (US time), Billboard evaluated BTS’ LA concert, saying, “BTS made its comeback to the stage for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic with four concerts at SoFi Stadium in LA, which wrapped on December 2.”
According to Billboard, this LA concert’s revenue was $33.3 million. It is worth about 39.4 billion KRW. The group sold a total of 214,000 tickets. In response, Billboard drew attention, saying, “The South Korean superstars BTS boast the biggest Boxscore total by any artist in nearly a decade. The Billboard Boxscore is a chart that selects rankings based on sales for concerts and music festivals worldwide.
On November 27, BTS held ‘BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE‘ at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, USA.
This was the first face-to-face performance in two years, so the interest of many fans poured out. The cheapest seat was sold for $75, and the VIP seat was sold for $450.
As the demand from fans increased, even limited-view seats were opened, and more spectators than expected filled SoFi Stadium. As a result, 53,000 seats were filled every show, making it a spectacular sight after a long time since the pandemic.
Kpop group BTS became the first solo artist to record all four performances sold out since the opening of SoFi Stadium. Also, they sold the most tickets among artists who performed at SoFi Stadium.
