Tomorrow x Together, GQ Japan’s ‘Men of The Year 2021’

The Kpop group Tomorrow x Together (TXT) emerged as the main character of ‘Men of the Year’ selected by GQ JAPAN.

According to Big Hit Music, on November 25, Tomorrow x Together (Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, Hueningkai) became the ‘MEN OF THE YEAR 2021’ by GQ Japan, a leading Japanese fashion magazine. It is under the theme of ‘The Year of Brave People.’

Every year, GQ Japan selects people who have shown overwhelming performances throughout the year, regardless of genre. In fact, Tomorrow x Together is the only foreign artist to be included on the list.

At the awards ceremony that aired live through GQ Japan’s official social media channel the day before, Tomorrow x Together said, “We’re so glad to have received such a wonderful award. We can’t be at the awards ceremony, but it’s an honor to be able to greet you like this. It was a pity that we couldn’t meet our loved ones this year. But, it was a good year because we could experience many things. We are looking forward to meeting the MOAs (fandom) in person next year.”

Kpop group Tomorrow x Together (TXT) released their first Japanese EP ‘Chaotic Wonderland,’ on November 10. It topped major Japanese music charts, including the Oricon charts. The album ranked first in the Oricon weekly album chart and weekly combined album ranking (aggregation period Nov. 8-14) on November 22. On the November 17 chart announced by Billboard Japan, it topped the ‘Hot Album’ chart and the ‘Top Album Sales’ chart and ranked first on the ‘Japan Artist 100’ chart. Also, TXT also took the top spot on the weekly chart of all-store comprehensive albums announced by Tower Records (aggregation period Nov.8-14).
