Kpop singer Lee Hi participated in the Spotify Singles: Holiday Collection, her agency AOMG said on November 18.
Lee Hi exclusively unveiled a new version of ‘For You,’ released in December 2020 on Spotify.
The collection is a playlist that Spotify releases ahead of the Christmas season at the end of the year. You can enjoy songs of various genres, including carols, through songs by various artists.
The Spotify Singles Holiday Collection has been going on for five years. John Legend, Norah Jones, and famous pop artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Sam Smith, and Miley Cyrus participated. LeeHi participated as the first artist outside the United States.
A total of 12 songs were included in this year’s collection. In addition to Lee Hi, American artists such as Spoon, Ashnikko, Jaden, and MisterWives participated. In addition, it was sung by Alexandra Stréliski of Canada, El Alfa of South America, and Lova of Northern Europe.
Regarding singing ‘For You’ in a new version, Kpop singer Lee Hi said, “It was fun to make a different version of ‘For You,’ released for fans last Christmas.”
Lee Hi added, “I like to listen to carols throughout December. But, I think I will spend this year listening to the Spotify Holiday collection. I want to present a happy moment with this song at a time when I need warmth and comfort.”
