Kpop rapper Yumdda, who appears as a producer on Mnet’s ‘Show Me the Money 10,’ recently apologized for the controversy over plagiarizing T-shirt designs he produced and sold.

Yumdda said on his social media story on November 4, “I just found out that there is another original artist for the designs on my recent merchandise. I sincerely apologize for not realizing this sooner. I am currently trying my best to reach the original designer. Also, I will try my best to pay a fair price and resolve this issue as soon as possible. I sincerely apologize.”

Earlier, illustrator Corinna Marin posted to her Instagram, expressing her dissatisfaction with Yumdda’s use of her design without permission. It became a hot topic within the K-hip hop community that Yumdda made around USD 360,000 in T-shirt sale profits. In fact, he frequently mentioned this matter through his social media activities. After Yumdda’s apology, Corinna Marin tagged him in her story, saying, “I would’ve gladly collaborated with you,” attracting attention.

‘To the Moon’ is a work featuring Tesla CEO Elon Musk flying in space, and Yumdda reportedly sold goods that combined his face instead of Elon Musk’s face to achieve sales of more than 400 million won.
