The Korea Music Content Association, which operates the Gaon Chart, said, “On the 44th week of Gaon Chart, IU’s ‘Strawberry Moon’ topped the digital and streaming charts for two weeks in a row. Then, NCT 127’s ‘Favorite (Vampire)’ topped the download and BGM charts. Also, SEVENTEEN’s 9th Mini Album ‘Attacca’ topped the album charts for two weeks in a row.”
Kpop singer IU receives much love by releasing ‘strawberry moon’ after about seven months since her 5th full-length album ‘LILAC.’
‘Strawberry Moon’ is a pop-rock style song with IU’s unique singing style and refreshing piano performance.
NCT 127 once again captivated global fans with the title song ‘Favorite (Vampire)’ of their 3rd full-length repackage album.
‘Favorite (Vampire)’ is an R&B pop dance song with an addictive signature whistle sound and rich vocals.
SEVENTEEN released their 9th Mini-Album ‘Attacca’ in about four months and captivated the public with their matured sensibility. The album topped the retail album chart in the 44th week, topping for two weeks in a row.
Kpop singer Youngwoong Lim ranked first on the ringtone and coloring charts for three weeks in a row with his first drama, OST, ‘Love Always Runs Away.’
Meanwhile, BTS has been at the top of the Social Chart 2.0 for 33 weeks in a row. During the counting period, the keywords for BTS’ My Celebs’ were ‘popular,’ ‘long-running,’ and ‘strong hit.’
However, the artist who showed the biggest rise in the rankings on the 44th-week social chart was ‘TAEYEON.’
The new songs ranked within the top 100 of the digital chart for the 44th week includes NCT 127 ‘Favorite (Vampire) at 2nd place, Bolbbalgan4’s ‘Butterfly Effect’ at 23rd place, Yongjae Shin’s ‘Confession’ at 46th place, and Yejoon Lee’s ‘Miss You’ at 88th place.
