Hanteo Global (CEO Youngho Kwak) and Cafe24 (CEO Jaeseok Lee) signed a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) for business alliances.

Hanteo Global officially announced the signing of an agreement with Cafe24 on November 9, saying, “Hanteo Global Family will expand its e-commerce market share using Cafe24 while cooperating with customers selling K-fashion, beauty, and goods to Cafe24 to enter the global market through Hanteo Global’s open market and Hanteo Chart.”

Under this agreement, Hanteo Global and Cafe24 plan to promote various cooperative projects. They will expand and globalize various products connected to the Korean cultural industry. It includes the Hanteo Global Family Growth Consulting and Starter Package Construction Cooperation and Cafe24’s K-fashion and K-beauty customers.

Hanteo Global has and operates the world’s only real-time music chart, Hanteo Chart. It is conducting an artist accelerating business based on artificial intelligence analysis technology based on big music data. It also delivers K-pop news to global fans through Internews media and WHOSFAN News TV channels. Also, it operates the global Kpop fandom platform ‘Whosfan.’

It provides various Kpop events and services that satisfy artists and fans worldwide.

Officially launched on May 22, 2020, ‘Whosfan’ succeeded in securing 5.5 million users in a year. It is under the support of global Kpop fandom worldwide. Recently, it surpassed 6.2 million users, showing rapid growth.

Cafe24 is a global e-commerce platform that contributes to boosting online exports of Korean products. They are expanding interest and demand for Korean products worldwide along with the popularity of the Korean Wave. Cafe24 provides IT solutions and business services for online businesses such as online e-commerce solutions, global marketing, and global logistics and delivery.

The two companies will surely expand the base of K-Culture by creating explosive synergy in the global K-brand online mall market by meeting Hanteo Global’s Kpop big data-based services and family network power and Cafe24’s platform technology and operation know-how.
