Kpop group BTS leaves for the US to attend award ceremonies, TV appearances, and conduct face-to-face concerts.
The Kpop group BTS has left Korea to go to the US to finish their scheduled activities.
BTS appeared at the departure hall of Incheon International Airport on the same day. They greeted reporters who were waiting, and then went through departure procedures.
J-Hope gave points by matching a yellow scarf to an ‘all-black’ fashion such as a black coat, pants, and hat. Then, V showed off his fashion sense with a beige coat and pants.
BTS will attend the ‘American Music Awards’ (AMAs) at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, USA, on November 21 (US time). They received three nominations, including ‘Artist of the Year,’ the grand prize at the awards ceremony.
AMA’s ‘Artist of the Year’ award, one of the three major music awards in the United States, is considered the best music award that only world-class pop stars can reach. Also, reports said that BTS is the first Asian singer to become a nominee in this category.
At this awards ceremony, BTS will present a remix version of ‘Butter’ with popular female rapper Megan Thee Stallion. The awards ceremony will air live on the ABC channel.
On November 23, BTS will appear on the CBS talk show ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’ in the US. They will perform ‘Permission to Dance.’
It is the first time in a year and ten months since BTS’s ‘Black Swan’ performance in January last year that they directly visited this broadcasting studio in the US. Since then, due to the COVID-19, the members have appeared in the domestic filming and broadcasting method.
BTS will meet ARMYs (BTS fans) worldwide for the first time in two years. It is after the Jamsil Main Stadium performance in October 2019. They will host face-to-face concerts at Sofi Stadium, Los Angeles, USA, on November 27- 28 and December 1-2.
After that, on December 3, they will perform on the ‘2021 Jingle Ball Tour stage, a large American music festival.
Meanwhile, the music industry is paying attention to whether BTS will be on the nominee list for the 64th ‘Grammy Awards’ scheduled to be announced on November 23. Last year, BTS received the ‘Best Pop Duo/Group Performance’ nomination but unfortunately failed to win the award.
If BTS wins the trophy at the Grammy Awards, which will take place on January 31, 2022, they will write a record of sweeping all three major music awards in the United States.
