Kpop group BTS received three nominations at the upcoming ‘American Music Awards’ including ‘Artist of the Year,’ the grand prize. The Kpop group BTS will perform jointly with Coldplay at the 2021 American Music Awards (AMAs). AMAs is a prestigious US pop music awards ceremony.
The ‘American Music Awards’ reported on its official social media on November 17 that BTS and Coldplay will present performances at the awards ceremony. They will present a live performance of their collaborative song ‘My Univers,’ released on September 24.
Coldplay will be back on the stage of the American Music Awards six years after singing ‘Adventure Of a Lifetime’ in 2015. Then, they will perform jointly with BTS.
Coldplay and BTS’s collaboration song ‘My Universe’ topped Billboard Global 200, Billboard Global (excluding the US), Digital Song Sales, and Hot 100 of the US Billboard chart.
Also, BTS will present a joint performance at the 2021 American Music Awards with Megan Thee Stallion, who participated in the remix version of ‘Butter.’
BTS has been nominated at the ‘American Music Awards’ for four consecutive years from 2018 to this year. So, this year, they compete with global musicians in three categories. It includes Artist of the Year, Favorite Pop Duo/Group, and Favorite Pop Song/Butter.
The ‘2021 American Music Awards’ will take place at 8 pm on November 21 at the Microsoft Theater in LA. Then, it will air live on the US TV channel ABC.
