BTS Jin’s ‘Yours’ achieved a great record of ranking first in a total of 90 countries on the iTunes Top Songs chart. So, it is demonstrating its strong global music power.
Jin’s ‘Yours’ is an OST for the tvN Saturday drama ‘Jirisan’ (Mount Jiri). He released the song on various music platforms in Korea and abroad at 6 pm on November 7.
‘Yours’ became the talk of the town right after its release. Starting with Indonesia, it ranked first on the iTunes Top Songs chart in 90 countries (11/9/02). It includes the US, France, Italy, India, Saudi Arabia, and Australia. So, it only shows a powerful ripple effect.
Also, ‘Yours’ has become the most number one song among Asian solo artists on the iTunes Top Song chart this year. Then, it is the second most number one song among solo artists. ‘Yours’ became a solo song that topped the iTunes Top Song chart in a total of 80 countries in just 7 hours and 30 minutes. It is the fastest in iTunes history.
Jin also took over the US iTunes chart, the hometown of pop, with ‘Yours.’
Around 11:30 pm (KST) on November 7, the song rose to the top of the iTunes Top Songs chart in the US.
As a result, BTS Jin has two songs, ‘Moon’ and ‘Yours,’ which topped the US iTunes Top Songs Chart.
On its official Twitter account, the ‘World Music Awards’ said, “Jin’s dreamy OST ‘Yours’ topped iTunes in 82 countries, including the US. Also, it became a Kpop solo song that topped iTunes in 2021. Jin ranked 36th in the top 40 global digital artists and is still on the rise.”
These brilliant achievements were all more surprising as Jin achieved these records 31 hours after the release of ‘Yours.’
