The Kpop group BTS expressed its feelings about their nomination for the ‘Best Pop Duo/Group Performance‘ at the 64th Grammy Music Awards.
BTS Jimin posted on the fan community Weverse on November 24. He said, “I sincerely thank ARMYs (fandom) who gave us this opportunity to take up this challenge of winning a Grammy. And thank you again for your enormous unchanging big love.”
In addition to Jimin’s writing, BTS thanked fans through its official Twitter account. “It’s a great honor (to receive a nomination at the Grammy). We’re grateful to everyone who loves our music.”
Earlier, organizers of the Grammy Awards announced the list of candidates for the 2022 Grammy Awards. There are a total of 86 categories. They announced it through live streaming held on their official website on November 23 (US time). On this day, Kpop group BTS was a candidate for the Best Pop Duo/GROUP PERFORMANCE with ‘Butter,’ released in May.
It has been a great achievement for the second consecutive year following the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category nomination with ‘Dynamite’ at the 2021 Grammy Awards last year. However, BTS failed to win the ‘Record of the Year’ award, to which the group was also nominated.
