The ‘Grammy Awards’ announced the nominees for the ‘2022 Grammy Awards’ in a total of 86 categories. They announced it through live streaming on their official website on November 23 (US time). The Recording Academy, an association of professionals in the record industry, selected the nominees for music released between September 2020 and September 2021.
At the ‘2022 Grammy Awards,’ BTS was a nominee for the ‘Best POP DUO/GROUP PERFORMANCE’ category with ‘Butter,’ released in May. It has been an excellent achievement for the second consecutive year following last year’s nomination in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category with ‘Dynamite’ at the 2021 Grammy Awards for the first time as a Korean pop singer.
