The Kpop group Tomorrow x Together (TXT) presented a new story with the music video for ‘Frost.’
TXT (Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, Hueningkai) released the music video for the song ‘Frost’ from their 2nd full-length album ‘The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE’ on their official social media channel at midnight on October 28. The imaginative background is comparable to a fantasy movie. The facial expressions of the five members and the intense and unique sound and lyrics of ‘Frost’ harmonized the music video’s perfection.
The music video begins with the appearance of five boys running from Magic Island. It is where everything starts to freeze in a blizzard. Breaking news that ‘There is a sinkhole in Seoul’ is reflected above the boys passing through the subway station.
The five boys open the border with the marbles they hold and travel to Magic Island. Then, they met a fortune teller and received a card with their own hidden destiny. The cards transport the boys to different locations. It includes the Burning Ancient City, Sand Desert, Fractal Cave, Trees of the Sky Sea, and Mirror Maze. After a struggle, the boys escape from their fateful place. Then, they discover that frozen Magic Island and escape back to reality.
Notably, the fortune teller’s book brought from Magic Island was next to Taehyun’s hand, who returned to reality. So, it raises curiosity about the story that will unfold in the future.
In fact, ‘Frost’ is a trap-based hyper-pop genre song. It compares the mind of a confused boy to ‘frost’ after realizing his own destiny. Also, this song relates to the original story ‘The Star Seekers,’ which tells the growth of five special boys.
TXT adds their experimental vocal sound to the intense and unique sound created by the rough textured percussion and heavy bass to captivate your ears. In fact, Ashnikko, an artist active mainly in London, worked on the song. Then, member Yeonjun participated in writing the lyrics.
Meanwhile, Gen Z fans worldwide love Kpop group Tomorrow x Together (TXT) as the members unravel the emotions they feel in reality in their own style with trendy melodies. So, they will release their EP ‘Chaotic Wonderland’ in Japan on November 10.
