The Kpop group P1Harmony (Keeho, Theo, Jiung, Intak, Soul, and Jongseob) performed as Kpop representatives in front of about 22,000 audiences in the US professional football league.
P1Harmony sang the Korean national anthem and performed splendidly in the match between Los Angeles FC and Seattle Sounders FC in the US. MLS at the Bank of California Stadium in LA on October 26 (US time).
The event was part of the Korean Cultural Festival held by the Korean Cultural Center in partnership with Los Angeles FC. Also, it was a venue to promote Kpop and Korean culture to spectators at a stadium with about 22,000 seats.
P1Harmony enthusiastically attracted about 8,000 fans. They presented an hour-long intense live performance on the outdoor stage of the stadium before the match. They sang a total of five songs, including album title songs such as ‘SIREN’ and ‘Scared,’ and showed solid performances. So, they attract enthusiastic cheers from US fans.
Then, P1Harmony sang the Korean national anthem and heated up the atmosphere before the start of the professional football game. P1Harmony’s performance, pre-recorded during halftime, appeared on the electronic display inside the performance hall. Mainly, P1 Harmony’s pre-performance aired live worldwide on ESPN, a representative sports channel in the US. So, it further draws a clear impression not only of global fans but also the global public watching football.
Many US P1Harmony fans gathered at the stadium and outside the performance hall to come up with a spectacular view. About 8,000 fans gathered outside the hall early before the start of the performance. They regretted not being able to enter the stadium. The inside of the stadium was also flooded with people who purchased tickets to watch the game to see P1Harmony. An LA Korean Cultural Center official said, “We didn’t expect so many people to attend. We just realized the huge popularity of P1Harmony.”
Starting with a live performance of Rolling Stone in the US in early October, P1Harmony appeared on FOX TV Good Day New York Broadcasting and held stage greetings for the movie ‘P1H: The Beginning of a New World’ at CGV and Buena Park. In addition, at Korea Day at Balboa Park, a commemorative event held in San Diego, Kpop group P1Harmony made a strong impression as the ‘4th generation Kpop talented idol’ in the US through various promotions, including performing amid cheers from 10,000 fans.
