The Kpop band CNBLUE (Yonghwa Jung, Jungshin Lee, Minhyuk Kang) is back as the ‘Men of the West.’
Kpop band CNBLUE made a comeback after 9 months with the ninth mini-album, ‘WANTED’ on October 20.
At an online meeting held to coincide with the album release, CNBLUE said, “The concept of ‘Hunter’ has transformed into a strong image.”
Member Yonghwa Jung wrote and composed the title song ‘Love Cut.’
The guitar sound and piano reminiscent of a scene from a western movie is impressive. Yonghwa Jung said, “I thought that we would be able to host a concert soon. So, I made this song with the live awareness in mind.”
The song contained a message to ‘cut’ off the wrong relationship around with scissors without regret. Yonghwa Jung said, “I was inspired to see a hair salon while driving by. So, I took a note and wrote a song.”
Then, member Jungshin Lee, who feels satisfied, said, “This song features the drum and bass of disco rhythm. I feel so satisfied with the piano sound.”
The album, including ‘Love Cut,’ includes five other songs. It contains ‘99%’ that overcomes the fierce modern society with confidence, Jungshin Lee’s self-composed song, ‘Hold Me Back,’ with an impressive sweet bass performance, ‘Nothing’ of the rock genre, and ‘Time Capsule.’
CNBLUE debuted in 2010 and released hit songs such as ‘I’m a Loner’ and ‘Love’ as a representative flower boy band in the music industry.
Member Minhyuk Kang said, “The fans are our biggest strength to be able to do music activities. The fans who sing along in a fun way at the concert hall are the biggest driving force for us. If I keep thinking about repaying our fans with good songs, another good album will come out, and I think I’m growing like that.”
