This year, the Kpop group BTS continues to be a long-term box office hit on the US Billboard chart. A collaboration song with Coldplay has been on the top spot for three weeks.
According to the latest chart released by the US music media Billboard on October 19, ‘”My Universe,’ released by BTS with Coldplay on September 24, ranked 18th in the Billboard main single chart Hot 100.”
Also, the song ranked second on the Digital Song Sales chart, 14th in the Canadian Digital Song Sales chart, 16th in Adult Pop Airplay chart, 27th in the Pop Airplay chart, and 31st on Billboard Canadian Hot 100 chart.
BTS also ranked four songs on the ‘Billboard Global 200’ and ‘Billboard Global (excluding the US)’ charts, which announce the rankings by counting streaming and sales in more than 200 countries/regions worldwide. On the ‘Billboard Global 200’ chart, ‘My Universe’ took 9th place, ‘Butter’ took 21st place, ‘Permission to Dance’ took 41st place, and ‘Dynamite’ took 42nd place. On the ‘Billboard Global (excluding the US)’ chart, ‘My Universe’ ranked 8th, ‘Butter’ ranked 12th, ‘Permission to Dance’ ranked 25th, and ‘Dynamite’ ranked 30th.
Kpop group BTS is also running on Billboard’s main album chart, ‘Billboard 200,’ The fourth full album, ‘MAP OF THE SOUL: 7,’ released in February 2020, ranked 182nd on the Billboard main album chart, ‘Billboard 200’ chart. It succeeded in ranking for the 85th week.
