The online concert ‘BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE’ held by the Kpop group BTS on October 24 is reported by influential foreign media.
British music magazine NME mentioned ‘BTS WORLD TOUR ‘LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF’ [THE FINAL],’ which was BTS’s last large stadium performance before the COVID-19 situation, saying, “Since then, BTS has been making record-breaking, headline-grabbing, chart-topping moves. But it has also been lacking a big part of what makes BTS’ world complete. They can show off their finessed performance skills to sold-out stadiums at home and abroad.
NME said, “Their return to Jamsil Stadium on October 24 for ‘Permission To Dance On Stage’ might not be the big reunion that fans hoped for. But, as with all their virtual performances in our pandemic era, they put their hearts and souls into trying to recreate the energy that would have filled the empty venue in the past.”
Also, The Guardian praised BTS’ upgraded performance in an article titled ‘Charisma and Confidence From the World’s Best Pop Group.’
The Guardian said, “BTS have experimented with genre since their 2013 debut. But, the way they use each member’s strengths confirms their charisma and confidence as a group.”
The Guardian also said, “They broke long-held music industry records. They smashed the assumption that pop should be in English for it to find global success. But to call them a phenomenon also implies that their star power is something of a mystery. That is not true. To watch them perform online or offline is to understand the tenacity, talent, and passion that fuelled them to these heights.”
Teen Vogue, a US magazine, also said, “BTS brings one of the most moving live experiences of any musician performing today. Their latest online concert, ‘Permission To Dance On Stage,’ is further proof of that.’
Teen Vogue then pointed out the concept and composition of each performance in detail.
BTS ‘PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE’ opened a new tour series. The members decorated it with the joy of dancing together wherever you are without the permission of others, just like the message of the song ‘Permission to Dance.’
The concert took place in a live streaming manner and was watched in 197 countries/regions worldwide.
Meanwhile, Kpop group BTS will continue its tour by hosting an offline performance of ‘BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LA’ at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles from November 27 to 28 and December 1 and 2 (US Time).
