BTS Jimin, the main character of Jimtober (Jimin+October), swept global trends, earning the title ‘King of Twitter.’

Also, Jimin is the ‘first’ and ‘only’ person who simultaneously occupied 28 spots out of the top 30 of the world’s real-time trend for three consecutive years.
In South Korea, Jimin ranked first in real-time in just 5 minutes. In the United States, Jimin ranked 1st, 3rd, 7th, and 10th within 13 minutes. Also, in Vietnam, Jimin occupied the first 1st to 29th spot, showing his extraordinary popularity.
In India, all 31 of the 50 rankings counted relate to Jimin, setting a new Kpop record in the country.
Shortly after the global trend lined up from 1st to 5th in less than 12 minutes and trended to 10th and 14th, 28 of the 30 rankings contained birthday wishes for Jimin for the 3rd consecutive year.
This was not just a few words of Jimin’s name and celebration. But, it was surprising that more than 61 keywords were trending in more than 208 regions.
The most popular keywords were ‘Jimin’ with 7.5 million, ‘JIMIN Jimin’ with 6.66 million, ‘JIMIN’ and ‘#JIMIN’ with 6.2 million, ‘#HappyJIMINDay’ with 3.2 million, and ‘HappyJIMIN Happy Birthday’ with 311 million.

Notably, ‘JIMIN JIMIN’ has more than 6.66 million mentions. It sets a new record for individual words most frequently mentioned on Twitter.
Also, BTS Jimin’s most frequently used hashtag, ‘#JIMIN,’ was classified in everyday terms such as weather and love. So, it was difficult to check the exact amount of tweets.
BTS Jimin’s birthday words and hashtags set a milestone in the trend of 208 places where Twitter activities are available. When mentioned all day, ordinary users who don’t know K-pop also tweeted, ‘Who is Jimin?’ ‘The famous Jimin’s birthday is today,’ and ‘I don’t know K-pop, but happy birthday Jimin.’
On October 13, Twitter became Jimin’s birthday party venue to fully occupy the trends, proving Jimin the ‘King of Twitter.’
